Nile Kinnick photos

Nov. 18, 1938 - In 1928, Irvin Nelson, a reserve back, went in to dropkick the point that gave Iowa a 7 to 6 victory over Minnesota and today, the Hawkeyes will be counting on Nile Kinnick to do the dropkicking for those all-important extra points. It was Kinnick's boot that beat Notre Dame, 7-6, last week. Kinnick if shown practicing dropkicking.(Register file photo)
