The return of Norm Parker
Iowa defensive coordinator Norm Parker
Kirk Ferentz confirmed this morning that defensive coordinator Norm Parker will be with the team on Saturday against Michigan State.
“We expect Norm to be in the press box,” Ferentz said in his speech at the I-Club Breakfast this morning at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Iowa City.
Parker recently had a foot removed because of complications due to diabetes. Ferentz said earlier this week that the team hoped Parker would be at the game, but that the coach wouldn’t be in the office this week.
“He’ll be coming down from the rehabilitation center and we’ll expect him to be up there tomorrow afternoon,” Ferentz said, referring to the press box.
