Iowa one of Kouandjio’s final three picks
Heralded offensive lineman Cyrus Kouandjio has narrowed his list to Iowa, Alabama and Auburn, his high school coach Bill McGregor told the Washington Post on Monday.
The 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio attends DeMatha Catholic High School in Hyattsville, Md.
He and defensive lineman Darian Cooper, who also attends DeMatha, both took official visits to Iowa this weekend.
Cooper described his visit as being amazing and will choose between Iowa, Michigan State and Georgia Tech.
Kouandjio had Southern California and New Mexico among his final five schools before trimming his list to three.
He already has visited Alabama, where his older brother Arie is an offensive lineman, and will visit Auburn this coming weekend.
Kouandjio is ranked by some scouting services as the top high school offensive lineman in the country.
