Formerly lived in Marion, IA. Coached basketball Hawkeye Cara Consuegra as a youth. DeMatha is a great school but it is not a Jesuit school. The Trinitarians founded and are the backbone of DeMatha. At DeMatha, sports come way down the priority list after God, Family, Academics. Any teacher can pull any student athlete off of a sport if they are not getting their grades. Madison St. in Hyattsville is lined with banners "Gentlemen and Scholars". I always felt Iowa was a good match for DeMatha athletes. Jordan should like being a Hawkeye! Dear LettermanHawk,

They are not going to be strangers to discipline either!! Wouldn't it be great to have four or five DeMatha kids as Hawkeyes.
