I can't say that I ever did, but I never regretted my decision to go to Iowa. It is one of the greatest college towns in America. I think kids who go to college in big cities miss the ambiance and charm that should be part of every student's college experience. Now that he has reaffirned his commitment I'm thrilled. He may get cold feet at Iowa but it won't be because of his desire to be there (just the weather).
