Tucker considering return to Big Ten
Former Iowa guard Anthony Tucker is contemplating a return to the Big Ten and playing for Minnesota, according to Sid Hartman of the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Tucker was twice suspended as a Hawkeye for alcohol-related offenses, and eventually left the team in the middle of the 2009-10 season.
He played last season at Winona State, but got in trouble right before the start of postseason play and was suddenly looking for another school again.
One rumor that caught fire for a day, before the Register’s Randy Peterson put it out, was that Tucker was going to transfer to Iowa State.
If he does end up at Minnesota, Tucker would have to sit out next season and would have one year of eligibility remaining.
