Hubbard ranked 14th among JC transfers

Iowa basketball signee Anthony Hubbard is ranked as the nation’s 14th-best junior-college hoops prospect according to www.jucorecruiting.com.
Hubbard averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds and 4.5 assists last season, and shot 64 percent from the field for a Frederick Community College (Maryland) team that finished 24-7. Hubbard was earlier named a NJCAA Division I second-team all-American.
Hubbard picked the Hawkeyes over two other Big Ten schools, Penn State and Nebraska, as well as Iona and Jacksonville.
