N.J. LB picks Rutgers over Iowa

[ 9 ] January 5, 2012 |

Quanzell Lambert, a 6-foot-2, 230-pound linebacker from Timber Creek High School in Sickerville, N.J., made a verbal commitment to Rutgers Thursday afternoon, picking the Scarlet Knights over Iowa and Nebraska.

Lambert attends the same high school that produced Iowa true freshman linebacker Quinton Alston. Former Iowa all-America running back Shonn Greene is also from Sicklerville as is former Iowa all-America defensive end Leroy Smith.
