Eric Simmons commits to Hawkeyes
Eric Simmons, a freshman at Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs, has committed to play football for the Hawkeyes.
The Madrid, Iowa, native has committed according to numerous websites.
Simmons, a 6’3″, 305-lb. center, is expected to enroll for Iowa’s spring semester starting Tuesday. He is likely to play either guard or center for the Hawkeyes.
Simmons is Iowa’s 18th recruit in the 2012 class and he has four seasons to play three at Iowa.
