This year, Basabe is 6'7" and is having to play inside. That's the difference. But, having an 11 point lead, then losing by 6, against a power-house BB program such as Nebraska is painful. From another standpoint, this team's tenacity is flat-out just missing and not matching Fran's fire... I'm not sure which one's more frustrating knowing. At this point, I would just bench Basabe and send him immediately to the weight room until next year. He looks weak, plays weak, and his hunger to compete is completely missing. Eric May has been completely disappointing, as well. I've always thought Archie needs more touches and more playing time, and can't quite figure out why he's never been more part of the equation. Overall, this team just needs to get Meaner & Nastier, and be willing to give a few hard fouls!!!... like the Detroit Pistons used to deliver in the Rodman & Bill Lambier days.
