Iowa’s run to No. 1: Tom Davis talks about the ’86-’87 Hawkeyes (videos)
The Iowa men’s basketball team started the 1986-87 season 18-0, the longest winning streak in school history, under the direction of coach Tom Davis. And that team became the first – and only – Iowa team to reach No. 1 in the Associated Press poll.
