Oklahoma State to host National Duals finals

IOWA CITY, Iowa – The National Wrestling Coaches Association announced today that Oklahoma State University will host the “Mat Mayhem Championship Finals” on Sunday, Feb. 19, at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater, Okla.
Iowa advanced to the final round of the NWCA/Cliff Keen National Duals by winning the Iowa State Regional title Feb. 12. Other regional winners and final four participants include Illinois, Minnesota and Oklahoma State. The Hawkeyes have a 2-1 record against the championship field, with wins over Illinois (20-13) and Minnesota (19-17) and a loss to Oklahoma State (17-16).
Tickets to the “Mat Mayhem” event can be purchased through the Oklahoma State box office at okstate.com. Further information, including team seeds and match times, will be released Tuesday by the NWCA.
