Gatens hits 30 as Hawkeyes upset Indiana
IOWA CITY, Ia. – Matt Gatens scored 30 points, including seven 3-pointers, Sunday as Iowa upset No. 18 Indiana 78-66 at Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
The Hawkeyes improved to 14-13 overall and 6-8 in the Big Ten Conference.
Gatens also had three steals and four rebounds.
Melsahn Basabe had 13 points for Iowa.
