Hawkeye baseball rallies against Milwaukee
Iowa scored a run in the bottom of the ninth inning to edge Milwaukee 10-9 Tuesday at Banks Field in Iowa City.
Milwaukee loaded the bases with a hit batsman and two intentional walks to bring up freshman Jake Yacinich, who hit a chopper to second that Keith Brand beat to home plate.
Iowa (18-22) had 12 hits, with two coming from Yacinich, Chett Zeise and Eric Toole.
Nick Hibbing got his first win pitching two innings of relief. Iowa pitchers gave up nine walks and hit three batters. Milwaukee (17-24) had six walks and two errors.
