wa freshman basketball player Kyle Meyer, arrested early Saturday by University of Iowa police and charged with public intoxication, will be disciplined internally.
Meyer, 18, a forward from Alpharetta, Ga., was arrested at the Hillcrest dorm on the Iowa City campus at 12:41 a.m. Saturday.
“Kyle is subject to the rules and regulations of the team’s code of conduct,” Iowa spokesman Matt Weitzel said Sunday. “The matter will be handled internally.”
