Central Michigan among 25 worst in Sagarin ratings

Important question: Who is the worst team in college football? We strive to find the answer each week by parsing Jeff Sagarin’s NCAA football ratings.

The teams below represent the 25 worst Division I FBS schools in the Sagarin ratings after three weeks of games. The number in parentheses is the overall rating out of all teams across the country.

Central Michigan, Iowa’s opponent on Saturday, is included in the list at No. 13.

Sagarin has been providing ratings for USA TODAY since 1985, and his NCAA football ratings are an integral part of the BCS formula. … But none of these teams need to worry about.
