TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — The Iowa women’s basketball team fell 83-69 Wednesday night against Florida State in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge.
Morgan Johnson led the Hawkeyes with 20 points on 8-for-15 shooting, while Samantha Logic added 14 but committed 10 turnovers. Florida State took advantage of Iowa’s 24 total turnovers, turning a 33-30 halftime lead into a big second-half margin.
Leonor Rodriguez scored a game-high 28 points on 4-of-6 3-point shooting for the Seminoles, who also got 14 points from Alexa Deluzio.
Iowa hit just 2-of-10 shots from long range <JU>and went to the free-throw line just nine times compared to Florida State’s 20 trips.
Bethany Doolittle led the Hawkeyes with nine rebounds and scored 10 points on 5-of-9 shooting.
