Mediacom, mobile Big Ten network reach agreement

[ 0 ] January 8, 2013 |

You’re out to dinner Thursday but want to peek at Iowa’s basketball game against Michigan State. You’re not at a place with a television, but you’ve got your favorite mobile device.

You’re just a click or two away — if you’re a television Mediacom subscriber.

Mediacom Communications and the Big Ten Network announced Tuesday that BTN2Go, a live 24/7 extension of the BTN, is available to Mediacom subscribers in Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Minnesota and parts of other Midwestern states.

BTN2Go features a live feed of all BTN television programming, including live game telecasts.

Mediacom subscribers can access BTN2Go on four platforms — website, iPad, iPhone and Android devices – by following instructions at www.BTN2Go.com.

It’s available at the App Store for iPads and iPhones.

It’s available at no additional cost.
