Watch: Parents of Chris Street react to getting game ball
The hugs and platitudes flowed inside the Hawkeye locker room Saturday night as Iowa coach Fran McCaffery presented the game ball to Mike and Patty Street following a 70-66 win against Wisconsin.
The game was played on the 20th anniversary of the car crash that killed Chris Street on the outskirts of Iowa City. A halftime ceremony at Carver-Hawkeye Arena honored Street, who was a junior in the prime of his Iowa basketball career when he died.
