ABOUT THE HAWKEYES: Desperate to end their five-game losing streak, Iowa will play its eighth game against a ranked opponent. The Hawkeyes are 6-1 in the prior seven contests, with the only loss coming to Penn State earlier this week.

ABOUT THE BOILERMAKERS: Looking to win their 13th straight home game against Iowa. The last Iowa win was on Feb. 6, 1998. Purdue is the top free-throw shooting team in the Big Ten at 77.7 percent. Sam Ostarello leads the conference in rebounding at 10.1 per game — 7.7 on the defensive end.
