Iowa junior Devyn Marble scored his 1,000th point on Saturday, joining his father Roy Marble as the only father/son duo in Big Ten history to reach that milestone.
Devyn Marble broke the mark with a 3-pointer early in the first half of Iowa’s regular-season finale against Nebraska.
Devyn Marble, who became the 41st player in Hawkeyes history with at least 1,000 points, entered as the team’s top scorer at 14.4 points per game.
Roy Marble remains Iowa’s leading scorer with 2,116 career points from 1986-89.
