Iowa football picked to finish fifth in Legends Division

Ohio State is the prohibitive pick to win the Big Ten Conference, according to a poll conducted by the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Iowa, meanwhile, is projected to finish fifth in the Legends Division, based on the votes of league writers.

The Buckeyes were the unanimous choice to win the Leaders Division, while Nebraska and Michigan were co-favorites in the Legends.

The Plain Dealer started this poll in 2011 when the Big Ten stopped taking votes from reporters and releasing their own poll. The Big Ten meetings are being held  in Chicago Wednesday and Thursday.
