PARIS – The Iowa men’s basketball team rolled to its latest victory on its preseason tour of Europe, outrebounding St. Quentin 53-35 on its way to a 93-74 triumph Saturday night.
Anthony Clemmons, Devyn Marble, Josh Oglesby and Aaron White each scored 12 points to lead the Hawkeyes, who improved to 4-0 overseas. Melsahn Basabe added nine points and 11 rebounds for Iowa, which shot 51 percent from the field, including 8-of-20 from 3-point range.
The Hawkeyes jumped to a 48-33 halftime lead, shooting 58 percent in the frame.
Iowa next plays Hyeres-Toulon Basket at 11 a.m. Central time Monday in Toulon, France — a 520-mile trek south to the Mediterranean coast.
