Dallas Clark is considering retirement after 11 seasons in the NFL.

The former Iowa tight end played for the Baltimore Ravens this season and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2012 after spending nine years with the Indianapolis Colts.

“I don’t know right now,” the 34-year-old Clark said on SiriusXM NFL Radio with Alex Marvez and Gil Brandt. “The body feels great. It’s just got be the right situation. Being the third down guy, just coming in on third down, that’s tough. I love being a bigger part of the game plan and things like that. It’s just gotta be the right situation, we’ll see what happens.”

Clark, a native of Livermore, Ia., has 505 receptions for 5,665 yards and 53 touchdowns in his career. His best season came in 2009, when he caught 100 passes for 1,106 yards and 10 TDs and was named to the Pro Bowl. He won a Super Bowl ring in 2006.

He recorded 31 receptions for 343 yards and three touchdowns in 12 games this season.

As a Hawkeye, Clark totaled 77 receptions for 1,251 yards and eight touchdowns during the 2001 and 2002 seasons. He was drafted in the first round with the 24th pick by the Colts in the 2003 NFL Draft.
