MADISON, Wis. Iowa won seven of 10 matches and earned a share of the Big Ten Conference dual title with a 28-10 win over host Wisconsin Sunday afternoon.
Ninth-ranked Cory Clark (125 pounds) and No. 2 Tony Ramos (133) opened the dual with pins, and No. 5 Nick Moore (165) recorded his team-high fifth major decision to help Iowa improve to 7-1 in conference duals.
No. 10 Brody Grothus won at 149 pounds 2-1 and Iowa took three consecutive wins at 174 (No. 6 Mike Evans), 184 (No. 6 Ethen Lofthouse) and 197 (No. 12. Nathan Burak).
The Hawkeyes share the dual title with Minnesota and Penn State, and in two weeks return to Madison to challenge for the tournament title.
